Washington County Civic Leaders Project
The Washington County Civic Leaders Project, led by Adelante Mujeres in collaboration with Washington County, invites participants from communities of color and other underrepresented communities to complete a hands-on leadership training, equipping them to actively participate in the civic life of the county and engage in county decision making.
Hear From Past Participants
"I want to be a decision maker in the room when these decisions are made, because I want to be able to speak for the voices that aren’t always allowed in the room."
“If you feel like you don’t have a voice or don’t have power now, you can still find it. It is within you. This program is part of that for me. It’s part of my journey.”
