Empowerment

Latina immigrants in situations of poverty are often the unsung leaders in their homes, schools, churches and places of work. Adelante Mujeres builds on these experiences to further Latinas shared power to infuse their familial, social and political relationships with integrity. Through Adelante’s programs participants gain the confidence to express their voices, affirm their cultural identity, and acquire tools for active civic engagement.
