Forest Grove Farmers Market (FGFM), located in the heart of downtown, the Forest Grove Farmers Market promotes access to healthy fresh, organic food with a Latino flair.

Current opportunities to volunteer with the Forest Grove Farmers Market:

Farmers Market Assistant: Pre-season duties include distributing flyers door-to-door and hanging up FGFM posters around town, in office assistance with mailings, marketing, etc.; Market season duties include assisting Farmers Market Manager during market season with logistics of the market, outreach and promotion of local food systems.

May-October only: Volunteer at the market!  Great for families, teams, businesses, and groups of any type!

Information Booth/Greeter: Staff the info booth, greet attendees, provide information about the Market (product availability, entertainment and kid’s activity), and hand out vendor applications, note supplies we need for the following week, sell t-shirts and tote bags, sell tokens, and answer questions. This volunteer will also, handle consignment items: receive consignment items, organize booth, promote merchandise, sell items, record transaction and calculate earnings.

Market Setup Volunteers: Unload equipment, help set up tents, tables, chairs, barriers, and signs.

Market Tear-down Volunteers: Help take down and pack up tents, tables, chairs and signs from 8-9pm.
