Comcast provides unrestricted funding to Adelante Mujeres during COVID-19 pandemic

We would like to thank our long time partner Comcast, who has supported our work since 2014. Throughout our partnership, they have invested deeply in our Chicas Youth Development Program to help Latina youth gain access and interest in pursuing STEM studies and careers through workshops and summer camps.

Their Internet Essentials Program has helped our Latinx families access affordable internet services, especially during a time when the world has moved to virtual learning.

They’ve also invested in our Capital Campaign by sponsoring our Adult Education computer lab and classroom.

Most recently, they took the time to help us transition a $15,000 grant from program funding to general operations because they know the importance of unrestricted funding during such an uncertain time.

“As we all face the extraordinary challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to continuing to support our amazing community partners like Adelante Mujeres”, says Rebecca Brown, Director of Community Impact at Comcast. “We understand that providing flexible funding is key in allowing Adelante Mujeres to deliver critical resources to our Latinx community.”
