La Lucha Monthly Giving Program

La Lucha means “the fight,” and our Luchadores, our monthly giving members, are fighting alongside us every day.

At Adelante Mujeres we fight for a community that thrives! We fight for women to have their own voice, to use it without fear, and for a more just society where Latines are not faced with barriers in accessing resources like education, leadership training, and enterprise opportunities. Then, Latine women and their families gain the power to choose what they want for their futures/lives.

When good people come together,
good things happen.

Our programs are built by and for Latinas. We envision a future where Latine representation is present in all corners of our society, where every woman and girl knows the power of her voice and believes in her dreams, and where all Latine families are thriving. We will keep fighting courageously until this future is a reality.

Luchadores like you power this work. Unrestricted funds allow us to allocate our resources most efficiently and where the needs are greatest.

 Meet a Luchadora

“As a Latina and proud daughter of immigrants and seasonal farmworkers, education changed the trajectory of my life. My dream as a young woman was to be a doctor in order to help improve the lives around me, but what I never imagined is that education would lead me to feel empowered and self-fulfilled.

This has transformed me into a stronger, more confident woman. As a result, I am a better mother, wife, daughter, friend, and community member. My hope is for every Latina to have this opportunity and this is why I donate to Adelante Mujeres."

- Eva Galvez, Physician at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center

Education is key to empowering people. It can change the trajectory of Latina leadership and who gets there.
