2025 Year in Review
2025 has been difficult, with many heavy moments, but at Adelante Mujeres we hold on to what is most powerful: our unity and our courage. The energy of hope and the deep belief in our collective strength is what sustains us. We celebrate the moments of joy and powerful impact we’ve made this year as we empowered Latinas, children, and immigrant communities in Oregon.

How Adelante Mujeres showed up for our community
Early Childhood
Education
90 kids participated in preschool graduations
We held our 2nd Annual Children’s Farmer’s Market, where kids explored healthy choices and shopped for fresh produce.
CHICAS
We served about 700 Chicas youth in our after-school sessions at 28 schools throughout Washington County.
96 youth attended our Summer Camps in 2025
We had 332—223 youths and 109 adults—attend Experiencia Ecológica events this year. Family fun!
In 2025, 27 Chicas graduated high school—100% of our 12th graders!
Adult Education
We had the largest GED graduation in the past ten years, with 9 graduates!
So far in 2025, 43 students completed the Digital Skills for Life (DS4L) program and 28 students trained on Google Sheets.
Family Engagement
Families discovered new ways to communicate and understand each other at our Fortaleciendo Familias workshops.
We host monthly behavioral health workshops and offer access to informative webinars.
Leadership
We were officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Access Programs! Our attorney and accredited representatives now provide vital immigration legal services to our community for free.
9 participants graduated from the Washington County Civic Leadership Training Program.
May Day 2025 uplifted the voices of workers, and we demanded social justice.
We became regional leads for Washington County Rapid Response (with Centro Cutural).
Esperanza Health & Wellness
Beyond Trauma workshops continue to transform generational trauma through education, awareness, and community support.
The Rockefeller Foundation funded ProduceRX.
We hosted “Cultivando Salud y Bienestar” every month at the Farmers Markets
Microenterprise
More than 3500 people go to our Farmers Markets every week!
We officially launched Juniper Community Garden, including an educational yurt.
We celebrated the 5th anniversary of Casa Qui!
