Unlocking Opportunities for Latino Farmers and Gardeners

At Adelante Mujeres, we believe in the power of the land and the potential within our community. That's why we created our Spanish-language regenerative agriculture program, supporting Latino farmers and gardeners in building sustainable, thriving agricultural businesses. This program was featured in the Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) article, “This Oregon program seeks to unlock opportunities for Latino farmers and gardeners,” by Alejandro Figueroa on May 6, 2025.

Over the years, we've had the honor of guiding over 400 aspiring farmers through a 14-week journey, where they learn to nourish the soil, manage pests naturally, and cultivate healthy, organic crops. The OPB article shows that this program is about more than just farming — it's about breaking down barriers like language access and limited resources, and providing real pathways to economic resilience.
