We are committed to making healthy foods accessible for the whole community, so that's why the Forest Grove Farmers Market accepts SNAP and FDNP! Benefits may be put toward the purchase of all fruits and vegetables at the market.
Thanks to the TSWCD, low-income shoppers also receive up to a $10 match in tokens to buy more produce. That means when you purchase $10 or more in tokens using your SNAP benefits, you will receive an EXTRA $10 to spend on fruits and vegetables at the market!
Waste Center/Durable Dinningware Initiative
An important value at Adelante Mujeres is to love and respect the earth, so making our Farmers Market a sustainable and low-waste event is a top priority for us. To reduce the volume of waste generated at the market we:
Minimize single-use dinnerware by providing durable plates, metal utensils and cloth napkins
Recover food scraps for composting
Redirect unsold produce & perishable food items
Live Music & Entertainment
Enjoy live local music and entertainment while you eat and shop each Wednesday at the market!

Market Sprouts Kids Club
The Market Sprouts Kids Club mission is to inspire children to take part in their local food system, enjoy eating nutritious foods, and empower them to make healthy choices. We hope to provide an opportunity for kids to engage with local farmers and get to know where their food comes from in order to improve health outcomes and inspire a new generation of informed and healthy eaters.
Kids enroll in Market Sprouts by writing their name and age on a Market Sprouts Passport and participating in Kids Club activities at their local farmers market. They will receive a reusable shopping bag and other incentives throughout the market season. Market Sprouts provides young learners with fun activities that encourage a better understanding of farmers, food, and how to make healthy choices. Market Sprouts is FREE and open to all children ages 5-12.

Recipes that include fresh, local, and seasonal produce from our Forest Grove Farmers Market are featured at our cooking demonstration booth! Learn how to prepare these delicious recipes, buy your ingredients at the market, and bring the recipe home to try! Samples available!
